Increment Variables Tool

Use the Increment Variables tool to increment your numeric global or campaign variables by a specified amount (positively or negatively).

Procedure

1. Drag the tool to the Workspace. The following screen is displayed:

2. Click the Variable drop-down.
3. Select the required variable from the displayed drop-down. This includes global variables set up in Campaign Manager or campaign variables set up on the Variables tab.
4. Select the campaign that the variable will apply to. Leave the field blank to use the current campaign.
5. At the level above, select the amount that you wish to change the variable by. You can use whole numbers or decimals, and can reduce variable amounts by using negative numbers, for example '-1.5'.
